Greenbank View is a 2 bedroom first floor apartment sleeping 4. Underbank is a spacious
studio with separate shower/utility room and sleeps 2. Each holiday home has its own securely
fenced, private garden and guests also have access to a similarly secure woodland.
The business operates 52 weeks a year and is invariably booked throughout. Each of the three

Local amenities include numerous inns and hostelries including the Brown Horse at Winster
Village, Damson Dene Hotel, Masons Arms on Cartmel Fell and the Hare and Hounds at
Bowland Bridge where the nearest village shop, post office and tea room can also be found.
The villages of Bowness and Windermere are ten minutes drive away and Kendal, the nearest
town, is a twenty minute drive as is the closest motorway access at Junction 36 of the
M6.There is a main line station at Oxenholme, Kendal and a branch line connection to
Windermere. There is excellent shopping in Windermere and Kendal and home delivery from
Asda, Tesco and Howbarrow organic farm.

Sale of Greenbank….
As many of you already know, Greenbank is currently for sale, hopefully as a “going concern”.
We have been advised to continue taking confirmed bookings as usual for 2011 and beyond.
In the event of a sale, confirmed reservations will be passed on to the new owners with contact details for the bookings and details of deposits/balances paid.
We will contact everyone with a confirmed booking to keep them informed if ownership of Greenbank is changing.
We will be doing our best to honour reservations.

If it becomes clear that we will not be able to honour a reservation you will be informed of this at the very earliest opportunity and any deposits/balances paid will be returned in full.
